The new moon marks a new month in the Bible.

This refers to the first crescent moon in Israel.

At certain intervals we meet at new moons and celebrate the new biblical month together.

As it was already celebrated in ancient Israel.

And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
